Excess any thing is harmful. (Athi Sarvathra Varjayeth - Vagbhata). Drinking water is useful for the human body as the wastage of the body is fleshed out. Water maintains electrolytic balance in the body.
In spite of these benefits excess intake of water (Beyond capacity) like 2-3 litres in a day at a time is harmful to the body as it overloads kidneys. Human body has perfect mechanism to decide over the need of water. There is is a natural sign by which body knows how much water to take.
Excess water drunk even after thirst is quenched causes many problems in the body. More urination, loss of hunger etc. Kidney problems may also arise. Hence it is suggested to drink water just to clench your thirst. JGD
నీరు ఎంత అవసరమో అంతే తాగాలి. ఎక్కువగా ఏదీ చేయకూడదు అని ఆయుర్వేదము అంటుంది. నీరు కూడా అంతే. నీటి తో ఎన్నో ఉపయోగాలు ఉన్నప్పటికీ అతిగా ఒక్కసారే త్రాగితే కిడ్నీల పై వత్తిడి పెరిగి సమస్యలు రావచ్చు. మన శక్తికి మించి త్రాగకుండా దప్పిక తిరు వరకు తాగితే చాలు. JGD

JGD-VERY NICE AND USEFUL INFORMATION FROM U R SITE AND THAT TO IN TELUGU IS VERY USEFUL FOR ALL -SEKHARDATTA-FROM FACEBOOK
JGD!There are suggestions to drink 2 glasses of water once in an hour completing 5 liters of water during the day time to reduce weight. Is it not advisable?
