Seasonal Common Cold - Simple Remedy in Ayurveda

Once summer is at peak usually many suffer with common cold. Nasal block, heaviness in the head or headache are the signs of this problem. In such situation eat a Banana piece stuffed with little Black Pepper powder. Repeat this 2 to 3 times with 1 hour gap. It will give good relief. JGD

The famous Neem plant is also called as Pichu Marda in Ayurveda. "Pichu = Pisaacha; Mardha = To beat".  There is a ritualistic practice all over India that people affected with psychological problems are felt as Demon affected. and beaten with Neem branches for relief.  The synonym carries forward the ancient practice for scientific exploration in future.  JGD

వేపను పిచుమర్ద అని అంటారు. పిచు = పిశాచ ; మర్ద=కొట్టుట. మానసిక రోగులను దయ్యము పట్టింది అని వేప మండలతో కొట్టడం మన దేశములో అంతటా కలదు. ఈ పేరు ఆ విషాయాన్ని నిక్షిప్తము  చేసుకొని  భవిష్యత్ పరిశోధనలకు ఉపయుక్తము గా ఉంటుంది. JGD
