Unique way of Indian Cooking is Backed by Ayurveda


There is a special method followed in cooking Indian way. The edible oil is boiled with certain spices like Mustard, Cumin seeds and coriander and pulses like black gram. Such oil is smeared on vegetable pieces and foods and cooked.
This special method called as "Popu" in Telugu and "Thadka" in Hindi.
It adds a great taste to the Indian Foods. This procedure is suggested in India by Ayurveda. Such foods are called "Krithaanna". No one except Indians in the world follow this procedure in their cooking. See the Photo of Spices box.
